Material Engineer (m/w/d)

Your Tasks:

• Technical evaluation of novel PV-module materials, focusing on metallic components
• Lead in material development projects in cooperation with suppliers and external partners
• Close cooperation with procurement & production within cross functional teams in terms of material selection
• Roots cause analysis & solution evolvement of material related module issues observed during testing
• Further development/optimization of material test procedures
• Cintinuous maintenance/improvement of material specifications
• Development of new, high efficient and competitive PV-modules (module efficiency, -power, -cost/Wp)

Your Qualifikations:

• Degree in a natural science with specialization in metallic materials / metallurgy (FH/ETH)
• First industrial experience in comparable field desired
• Knowledge of alloy development, brazing and corrosion processes advantageous
• Outstanding analytical skills and structured working methodology
• Technically versed and robust personality with outstanding interpersonal skills
• Outstanding team player
• Used to work in a dynamic environment
• Proficient in German and English, verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to travel up to 20% of your working time
